Homemade Lazy Susan
If you're the type of person who likes to spice up the savory treats for your afternoon tea buffet, you can make a Lazy Susan spice rack. It's easy, quick to assemble, and you'll have your pantry or cabinet organized in no time.
Materials
Aluminum pie plate
Wood screw with round head
(a little shorter than depth of shelf)
Metal washer
Hammer
Screwdriver
1) To punch a hole in the center of the pie plate, push the screw through the plate. Use the hammer to tap the screw through the plate if you need to. Feed the screw through the hole.
2) On the underside of the pie plate, place the washer on the screw.
3) Center the pie plate on a wooden pantry or cabinet shelf. With the screwdriver, twist the screw through the pie plate and washer into the shelf, leaving it loose enough so the pie plate will spin around.
4) Stock the pie plate with all your spice bottles.
Now you can find the spices you need with a simple turn of your new Lazy Susan. You'll be the hottest dish in the neighborhood!
