2 sticks unsalted butter,
There are so many sweet and savory treats that you can serve on your Afternoon Tea table that would be "all aflutter" served with this tea-lightful Nutmeg Butter. It’s a snap to prepare, but will make a world of taste difference when spread on scones or biscuits with your Afternoon Tea.
softened
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon freshly
grated nutmeg
In a small bowl, or using a food processor, blend together the softened butter, honey and nutmeg. Transfer the mixture to a pretty serving bowl and refrigerate until chilled.
This tea-licious spread would make a wonderful hostess gift when you are invited over for tea. Simply prepare a batch and put it in an antique serving bowl that you can find in any antiques store. When your hostess finishes using the butter, she will have a lovely reminder of you and your special time together.
