"Where the Art and Elegance of Taking Tea is Treasured"

               "C'mon Baby, Let's Twist Again"

Just like we "did last summer," let’s "twist again" in the kitchen and whip up a batch of tea-licious Chocolate Twist Sticks. They’re a snap to make with store bought breadstick dough, and your Afternoon Tea guests will be "dancing in the aisles" for more.

1/3 cup sugar

(can substitute Baking
     Splenda)
1 can refrigerated
     breadstick dough
3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.

Unroll the dough onto the cookie sheet, and separate it into 12 strips.
Sprinkle 1 strip with chocolate chips, pressing them firmly into the dough. Place another strip of dough on top, and press down firmly on each of the short ends to join the strips together (leave the long ends of the dough open). Carefully twist the strip.

Repeat with the remaining dough strips to form 6 twisted Sticks.

Brush each Stick with melted butter and sprinkle with the sugar. Bake for 14 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Set out a plate of these "Twistin’ Chocolate Sticks" on your Afternoon Tea table, crank up the oldie’s, and pour a cup of Twining’s Vanilla Black Tea for all of your guests. Then "trip the light fantastic" and dance away your cares.
