"No Heat in This Kitchen" 20 chocolate graham crackers
In the heat of the summer, no one wants to turn up the heat further while baking in the kitchen. Well, you won’t have to deny yourself a sweet treat just because the temperature outside is rising. These No-Bake Brownies will satisfy your sweet tooth in a cool way.
10 cinnamon graham crackers
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons water
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 tablespoons mini chocolate
chips
Optional Toppings:
Whipped cream
Raspberries
Line an 8" square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving enough paper overhanging the edges to use as "handles" to lift the brownies from the pan. Spray the paper with non-stick cooking spray.
In a food processor, pulse the graham crackers (half at a time) into fine crumbs.
Add the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup, water and vanilla extract. Pulse again until a sticky dough forms. Stir in half of the chocolate chips.
Press the mixture into the prepared baking pan. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips on top. Chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Remove from the refrigerator when chilled and lift the brownie from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut the brownie into squares and serve garnished with whipped cream and raspberries if desired.
To save calories, these brownies can be made guilt-free by using low-fat graham crackers and fat-free sweetened condensed milk.
To really go off the "chocolate deep end of this summertime pool," pour a cup of Stash’s Chocolate Hazelnut tea. It’s a black tea with natural chocolate and hazelnut flavors that is best enjoyed with a touch of milk for a rich taste. The only sweat you will work up is running to your Afternoon Tea table to dive into these decadent, delightful brownies.
